Fattoria di Loppiano 4.0 is a winery marked by doing, the doing that means being cocreators by taking care of what we have inherited.
Francis of Assisi said that when we use not only our hand and head, but also our heart, we become artists, not only artisans.
With our hands, we cultivate and harvest indigenous grapes, such as Sangiovese, Trebbiano Toscano, Canaiolo, Colorino – an ancient Etruscan vine with an intense colour – but also international grapes such as Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabernet. With our heads we imagine and find innovative solutions; with our hearts we love what we do so that it becomes beautiful. Fattoria Loppiano 4.0 is an agricultural company that has been producing certified organic oil and wine since 2001.
Our vineyards extend over the Chianti Hills, a land of ancient wine-growing traditions, in the hamlet of Loppiano (municipality of Figline and Incisa Valdarno – Florence). In addition, there are 20 hectares of olive groves and 40 hectares of arable land and woods, making a total of 190 hectares of property.
In addition to a range of red and white wines, in which a special Sangiovese in white could not be missing, the farm produces Tuscan extra virgin olive oil, Vin Santo – to accompany meditative and festive moments, and Grappa made from pure Sangiovese marc. Fattoria 4.0 cultivates the land according to the principles of organic farming, aiming to value nature in order to produce high quality agricultural goods and services. For us, being organic is an ante litteram vocation, it is looking to the future as our heritage.
Hospitality, from the Greek Philoxenia, means love for the stranger, hospitality. Hospitality is sacred here and we can offer it in our Villa Tracolle facilities and in neighbouring farmhouses. And as well as making you feel at home, we will take you to our wine tastings and themed events.
